The name of this site reflects the fact that I have extensive experience in rubber manufacturing and product application of rubber products, including industrial and hydraulic hose and power transmission products. 

I have extensive experience with virtually all types of automotive, industrial and agricultural equipment.  A very large part of my work involved trouble shooting equipment problems and that gives me a strong ability to investigate equipment/product failures involved in litigation.

When I retired from The Gates Rubber Company (Chief Engineer) in 1999, I obtained the domain name of beltguy.com.  That was the name I used in our online technical  forum: "Ask Beltguy".  I used that domain for several years as a basis for introducing me to potential clients.  I continue to use it today as a link to several personal and business websites.  However, that domain name caused some questions about my knowledge in other product areas (hose, couplings and other forms of power transmission products).  As a result, this domain was obtained.
